In 2009 Katie Jordan received her Masters degree in Traditional Irish Music performance from the University of Limerick where she has also taught.

A former All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil champion, Katie is also an adjudicator of traditional Irish music at the highest level and continues to teach music at the Irish Club in Digbeth, Birmingham as a member of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann. Katie often leads on piano accordion and is recognised as an outstanding bodhran player in Britain and Ireland.
