EVENTS: Reel Note were asked to perform at an Irish Tribute concert at the Garrick Theatre in Lichfield on the 7th March, in memory of the late Mike Stanley, who sadly died in June 2013 at the age of 48. It was a great night of Irish music, to remember and to pay tribute to Mike, who was a member of the Drowsy Maggie and Shenanigans. The night featured some of the Midlands top Irish bands; Drowsy Maggie, Hurling Boys, Father Teds, Shenanigans and ourselves; The Reel Note. An exciting, memorable night, with all proceeds donated to St. Giles Hospice Homecare, who cared for Mike. UPDATE: £6000 was raised for St Giles hospice.
